Referral Program Terms
The plain-language rules of the QR Code Pro Referral Program.
1. What the program is
The QR Code Pro Referral Program lets you (the "Referrer") earn a cash commission when a person you refer subscribes to a paid QR Code Pro plan. It is free to join and you do not need to buy anything to take part.
2. How you earn
You earn 20% of each monthly subscription payment made by a person who signed up through your referral link or QR code (within 30 days of clicking it), for up to 12 months per referred customer. In other words, while a customer you referred keeps paying, you keep earning each month, up to that 12-month limit. Commission is paid only on genuine, completed payments. You are never paid for getting other people to become referrers — this is a single-tier sales commission, not a multi-level or "pyramid" scheme, and no such recruitment reward exists.
3. Confirmation and hold period
A commission is earned each time a payment from a person you referred succeeds. Each commission is held for 14 days before it becomes available to withdraw. If that payment is refunded or reversed during the hold period, the related commission is cancelled.
4. Payouts
Once your available balance reaches R150, you may request a payout. Payouts are made by EFT to the South African bank account you provide and are processed in regular batches after review. You are responsible for giving correct banking details.
5. Tax
Commission you earn is your income. You are responsible for declaring it to SARS and for any tax due on it. We may be required to keep records of amounts paid to you and to share these with the authorities where the law requires.
6. Your information (POPIA)
To pay you, we store the banking details you provide. They are encrypted, used only to process your payouts, and protected in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You can remove your stored banking details at any time from your referral dashboard.
7. Fair use
Self-referral (referring yourself or accounts you control), fake sign-ups, spam, and any attempt to manipulate the program are not allowed. We may withhold commission and suspend or remove a Referrer who breaks these rules or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
8. Changes
We may update the commission rate, thresholds or these terms from time to time. Changes apply to referrals made after the change. We will make the current terms available on this page.
